Music software

Caller software for playing music on a laptop or Android device:

Personally, I use sqview for this.

Even though I’m far from utilizing all the program's features, I find it incredibly easy to use.

You can put together a playlist and then play the songs in order at your club night without any hassle.

It also supports cuesheets for lyrics, and yes, I’m still a fan of the display featuring a yellow background with the lyrics highlighted in pink.

If you aren't familiar with it, give it a look/try.

It’s free, a big thank you to Thomas Bernhed for that.

Of course, there are plenty of other programs available to support us callers, too.

Another free option—which has recently been updated—is "Callers Caddy" by David Goebel; you can find it here: Callers Caddy
I find the new "Loop Finder" feature particularly interesting.

I’m definitely going to give the program a try!

How about you?
